Functions:
This cable will connect the amplifier's front foot switch jack (Lead/Rhythm) and the rear foot switch jack (REV/EQ). We have options to choose straight or right angle connectors for the TRS and the TS connectors to best suit your setup.
How to Connect The Cable
The 5 pin DIN connector on this cable will connect to the Voodoo Lab Control Switcher's MULT jack input. Then, connect the 1/4" connectors to the amp as follows;
- TS Connector - Goes to the front panel of the amp. Switches the Lead/Rhythm mode of the amplifier
- TRS Connector - goes to the rear panel of the amp. Switches the REV/EQ of the amplifier
The Voodoo Lab Control Switcher will adapt these switching relays to allow them to be switched via MIDI. The switch #'s of the Control Switcher that are being used will be 1, 2, and 3. The Lead/Rhythm toggle is 1 and the EV/EQ are 2 & 3.
Breakout Length:
The cable features two 1/4" connectors. These are housed in an overall PVC jacket and then broken out apart from one another to separate to their own destinations. The "breakout length" is the length of cable that these are separate from one another. When determining this, please keep in mind that one connector must go to the front of the amplifier and one must go to the back. If no breakout length is entered, we will use 20 inches.
Functionality:
Please keep in mind that the amplifier needs to be configured to operate with footswitches. To use the channel/mode select on the amplifier - plug in the cable to the front footswitch jack. Push in the LEAD DRIVE pull switch. You can now switch this via external foot switch.
