This snake box is in a traditional format of (12) Neutrik brand XLR female inputs. These are all wired to (1) BT39CM 39 pin chassis connector to serve as a quick disconnect. The multipin connector on the snake box not only increases efficiency with setup and teardown time - but it also allows the snake drop to adapt with different stage plots and situations. Rather than purchasing and entirely new snake if something longer is needed, a new disconnect cable is only needed.
