Continue readingWe recently built a very large pedalboard for a client. There were many more pedals than loops on this one – which called for a device to allow for additional loops. The customer went with the Morningstar ML5. This devices has 5 more loops that can be controlled via MIDI, essentially adding more loops to the ES-8.
Continue readingPurchased the HX Stomp? Nice! You are probably wanting to get it setup in your rig to be controlled with MIDI. The first, and most important, step to doing this is setting the MIDI channel on the unit – especially if you are controlling more pedals via MIDI. Another thing we cover is setting the HX Stomp’s MIDI Output to THRU. This is also important if you are daisy chaining multiple MIDI pedals.
