SPXA-M is SquarePlug's take on a low profile angled XLR connector. It feature the same heavy duty construction approach as the straight XLRs and all other SquarePlug connectors. Our proprietary cable clamping mechanism provides effective strain relief action to cables ranging from 2.5mm OD to 6.5mm OD! It is the only low profile angled XLR connector on the market that's capable of being used across a whole range of audio applications (stage, studio, install, field recording, broadcast, system integration etc.). Cables can exit radially at 8 different angles (every 45°).

More Room For Activities

In the case of the SPXA square plug connectors, small packs a PUNCH. These connectors are only 1.6 inches long (male) and 1.69 inches long (Female). This means they only protrude 1.06 inches (male) and 1.14 inches (female) when mated. This clears up valuable space on your rack or pedalboard - OR allows you to fit an XLR where you may have not been able to fit one in the past.

So Many Choices

These right angle connectors allow for varying cable exit positions + different cable sizes. The small housing on the back of the connector allows you to use different cable sizes based on the application! Using this for a drum loom? - no problem, the max opening hole allows for 0.26 inch O.D. Cable (6.5mm). Want to use this on a small fly rack or a tight spot on a pedalboard? Flip the housing to select the smallest cable opening for a 0.08 inch (2mm) sized cable. Here are the different openings you can choose from:

• 0.08 - 0.98 inch (2-2.5mm)
• 0.12 - 0.14 inch (3-3.5mm)
• 0.16 - 0.18 inch (4-4.5mm)
• 0.20 - 0.22 inch (5-5.5mm)
• 0.24 - 0.26 inch (6-6.5mm)

Another beauty of these connectors are adjustable cable exit positions! 360 degrees of options, baby! Turn the connector housing to the position you need the cable to come from, tighten, and you are done. This is IDEAL for rack and pedalboard applications that you need to fit these low profile connectors in tight spots.

Cable Strain - Relieved

The Square Plug Right Angle XLRs provide superior strain relief than any other low profile XLR on the market. A proprietary strain relief mechanism was developed and engineered by the good folks over at KMMK (Square Plug). This strain relief firmly grips the cable to reduce tension on the solder points of the connector - all while fitting in the low profile XLR housing. This allows the connector to be used on stage run and any non rack or pedalboard applications. Can you say, "Hello drum looms and drum MICs?!" because.... we sure can!
