1U Pre-Wired Panel for Fractal AxeFx III - Option 1

1U pre-wired rack panel for selected ports on the Fractal Audio AxeFX III system

This panel takes the most common configurations of ports we have seen used on the AxeFx III and bundles them into a single 1U panel for the back of your rack. No more fumbling inside of the rack to setup and teardown each night at a gig. Simply plug into the ports on this panel and give the jacks on your gear a break for the night! Plus, most ports feature a locking connection for extra security during the gig.

Why These Ports?

The amount of I/O on the back of the mighty AxeFx III is quite a bit, making your routing options seemingly endless. Over the years, multiple people have contacted us wanting every single port replicated to a back panel. This would require 2U of space (which some people do not have) and a high dollar amount panel due to more components, labor, etc. The high cost of replicating every single port to a panel, especially some you will never use, can seem wasteful. Therefore, we busted out our nerd calculators and took the statistics on the most common ports/configurations we have built over the years and were able to narrow it down to a smaller, more affordable, setup for the AxeFX III.

What Can I Do With These Ports?

These ports will allow you to run any of the following setups (but not limited to these setups) with your Fractal and not require unplugging a single cable within the rack!

• Stereo Out to Power Amps - via Out 1 L/R
• Stereo Out Direct (i.e. FOH) - via Out 2 L/R
• 4 Cable Method (Mono) -  via Out 1 L, In 3 L, Out 3 L

Cable & Connector Specs

We use the highest quality available components in these panels. All cabling used is small diameter for ease of routing within your rack.

• Instrument (TS) Cabling - Our coveted CA-0678 cable. This cable boasts an extremely low capacitance and shielding with high coverage to ensure the lowest resistance on your signal with the highest protection from outside interference.
• XLR/TRS/MIDI Cabling - all of these ports use our low profile, flexible, and high quality CA-1007 cable.
  
  
• Panel Connectors - all panel connectors, with exception to the MIDI, are using genuine Neutrik brand connectors.

Humbuster For The 1/4" Outputs?

We still recommend using Humbuster cables for the 1/4" Outputs (out 1 L/R and Out 3 L). If you need some custom length, high quality Humbuster cables, we have you covered - BTPA Straight to Straight Humbuster Cable

Don't Fear The PowerCON

"That little blue connector" - That little blue connector is a powerCON. It is a widely used AC power connector in the professional A/V world. We use this as all of our panels are punched for D-series ports, which accommodate just about every standard audio connector out there - just not Edison or IEC. The powerCON also features a twist locking connection for that added security of knowing your rack is not coming unplugged mid gig. Need some powerCON cables to plug into this panel and your wall outlet? No sweat, we have heavy duty powerCON cables and Standard/Light duty powerCON cables available for building to whatever length you'd like.
